Manuel Latruwe locate at the edge of downtown Calgary. This bakery offers french pastries like macarons and even belgium chocolates.
They offer both sweet and savory macarons. I was skeptical of the savory macrons which included salmon+cheese flavour and also duck liver. But surprisingly, it was YUMMY!
The mango custard cake was very delicious. It was very interesting to have macaron shells on the outside of the cake. Glad I ordered this dish.
The red velvet cake was a classic. The cake was very chocolaty with the cream cheese layers which adds the sweetness and creaminess to the cake.
Overall, it was a really nice bakery, comparable to Duchess Bakeshop in Edmonton. I would definitely go back to this place.
